Island Favorites
Whether this is your first time coming to the Island, or you are an annual vacationer, here is a list of my favorite spots on Hilton Head Island to include in your next vacation itinerary.
For coffee and brunch: Origin Coffee Bar is a new spot located on the north end (where I am currently writing this I must add) with endless options for both drinks and breakfast. Great place to stop quickly and take on the go, or sit down for a slower island morning.
For Happy Hour: Benny’s 41 Up is the rooftop bar at Benny’s Coastal Kitchen which overlooks stunning water views and has one of the best places to watch the sun set. Creative drinks, mocktails included and a fun tapas style shareable menu for food. Live music and great all around vibes.
For sailing and water activities: Island Head is a local water sports company offering everything from dolphin cruises, sunset sails, and even a hibachi cruise where they cook and serve you dinner on board. Fun fact- I taught a Pilates class on board with Island Head last year!
For walking spots: Besides the beach of course, Shelter Cove Community Park has a boardwalk style walking path along the marsh that goes for a few miles. Linking together Shelter Cove Shopping Center, you can grab a coffee or bite at The French Bakery to take on your walk by the water.
For workouts: Beach Pilates! Offering community based, large group classes with HHI Pilates Club- join a group of locals and visitors coming together through the joy of ocean front movement. Or book a private class where you write the invite list! Private classes can come right to your vacation home or taken to a nearby beach with all equipment (yes, mats too) provided for your group. Either option will give you the ultimate Island workout experience. Reach out to book your class today!
I hope these ideas help to get you started with building your itinerary and please feel free to reach out for more Hilton Head inspo ideas!
